Assassins Creed Mirage is the latest installation into the Assassins Creed franchise from Ubisoft Entertainment as the company returns to their roots with an impressive recreation of 9th century Baghdad.

This title promises to not only return to the original setting of the Assassins Creed franchise, but also uphold the true nature of the original title which was released in 2007.
So for fans of the series now is the perfect time to pick up Mirage on PlayStation, Xbox or PC, and for those feeling the cost-of-living crisis, purchasing a months subscription to Ubisoft+ can be a cheaper alternative to experience the game in its entirety.
Despite Mirage being early in its life cycle fans have been quick to laud the title as a faithful addition to the series and one that returns to the steal based adventure genre that made the series what it is today.
At the time of writing Mirage holds a 4.1 Star rating on the XBOX store with an overwhelming 69% of players rating the new release at 5 Stars.
User 'Hoopsdaft' has stated that:
Great!! Seems small. Seems short. But it's neither. The good old days are back again...
5 Stars
And user 'PrimedSnake' says:
This takes me back to the class AC1 days, very stealth focused which I love and we missed that a lot the last couple games.
Although I am sure this is a sentiment that much of the fanbase can agree with, Narrative Director, Sarah Beaulieu took to LinkedIn to show her excitement and sense of achievment with the project as she wrote:
I have a heartfelt thought for Russell Lees, who passed away last year. He was a guiding light for me when we started this project.
Today after more than two years of working on this game, I feel grateful for this incredible human and professional journey. And I cannot wait to see where the next one will take me...
I cannot wait to get stuck into the newest release and explore everything that Mirage has to offer, so I have to say congratulations on the team at Ubisoft for another outstanding addition to their library.
