Twitch is mainly known for its streaming platform which allows players, content creators and entertainers to livestream themselves to an audience of followers or casual viewers, however this feature may soon be making the jump to X, formerly Twitter, as Elon Musk was seen testing out a new livestreaming feature in the last 24 hours.
This may come as a surprise to many, Musk had recently hinted at live streaming himself playing Diablo last week, despite this being postponed, it seems as though this is an important project to CEO of Tesla.
Could this be the latest move of X towards an 'everything app' as it is being widely reported that Musk hopes to convert X into a similar multi use platform like WeChat, a Chinese messaging and social media app.

Although many X users have bemoaned Elon's takeover so far, there are many who believe that the business mogul is successfully converting X into a platform capable of being used for a variety of tasks to rival apps like Facebook and the aforementioned WeChat.
Despite this, time will tell if this video-streaming feature will be fully implemented as Musk himself has stated that key features such as "screen sharing and multi-cam overlay" are still in progress.
However, if all goes to plan it may not be long before we see X competing for users patronage from sites like Reddit, Facebook and Twitch as it broadens its services from a social media app to a multi purpose social media phenomenon.
