Payday 3 struggling at launch.

Despite the excitement around the return to the Payday series, the games release has been met with a cacophony of issues including system bugs and server issues preventing some players from enjoying Starbreeze's latest release.

Within its first week Payday has already received over 100 1-Star reviews on the Xbox store as well as over 26,000 reviews on Steam labelling the crime-sim as Mostly Negative.

This is incredibly unfortunate for the series and those at Starbreeze as the developers clamor to update the game as quickly as possible with multiple hot fixes already being applied within days of its release.

Although I have no doubt that Starbreeze will be able to turn the game around and appease their fans eventually, Payday 3 has added itself o the growing list of dysfunctional releases in recent months and years.

Although I personally enjoy many of the gameplay aspects and improvements on the previous title, matchmaking, game-breaking bugs and long loading times are proving too much of a detriment to the game to ignore.
