Amongst all the anticipation and apprehension surrounding it's release, Bethesda has announced that Starfield has reached 10 Million players across Xbox and PC.
Although this hardly comes as a surprise due to the sheer pull Bethesda, and their titles, have within the video game industry, it is still important to recognize the success that the title has garnered within such a reactionary market that is quick to dismiss some games as immediate flops.
Since its release users have taken to the Steam and Xbox market places to let their feelings be known as it has received over 53,000 reviews across both platforms with most regarding the game as generally, if not, exceedingly positive.

Upon further inspection most of the negative reviews average under 60 hours in the game, those that enjoyed the game have spent over 100 hours in the game showing that commitment and immersion play a massive role in Starfield's appeal.
This is echoed by Xbox user RDC147 who's five star review reads:
"Superb - Gripping storyline, fantastic dogfights, unbelievable gaming universe that feels so huge. Will be playing this for years."
This reinforces Bethesda's stance of replay-ability and once the modding scene is up-and-running who knows where Starfield will go next, but one thing that is sure, is that Starfield has been an instant success, one that was definitely worth the wait.
