Following the success of the Jedi Survivor series from the developers at Respawn Entertainment, actor Cameron Monaghan has seemingly confirmed that a third iteration in the series is on its way.
During the recent Ocala Comic Con, a panel featuring Tina Ivlev and Cameron Monaghan, the voice actors for Cal Kestis and Nightsister Merrin, were asked about the development on a third installation to the Jedi Survivor series.

To which Monaghan replied:
"We're working on a third and we're in the process of doing that right now. That's a big undertaking and there have been some conversations so far, but hopefully when all things are said and done we'll be able to go in and make something really cool for you guys again."
Although this may be the news that Star Wars fans, as well as fans of the video game franchise, wanted to hear we will all have to wait for some time as various external and internal factors will affect the games development.
Following this question about the progress on the development of the third game, Monaghan emphasised the unprecedented nature of the challenges facing studios, developers and actors alike due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Monaghan clearly stands with those striking against the unsustainable practice's of the industry as he stated "people want to support themselves, their families," showing the solidarity between those in the industry.
With this in mind, fans of the genre and franchise should appreciate the difficulty studios are facing at the moment and support the developers and actors through their strike action and into the future.
