25 years since the release of Tomb Raider III The Adventures of Lara Croft, Aspyr have announced that they will be remastering the original Tomb Raider trilogy, even going so far as to state that it will be released on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and Nintendo Switch.
Aspyr have even taken to X to show off their work on the trilogy as they show off comparisons between the original trilogy and the new remastered collection.
A major feature of the upcoming release is the ability for players to revert the game to its original state for those who wish to really revel in that hit of nostalgia.
This would make the Tomb Raider Remastered Collection the latest in the list of remastered gems from the late 90s and early 00s joining the Spyro and Crash Bandicoot collections as a sure fire way to regain that buzz of nostalgia.
There is no set release date yet from Aspyr, however fans of the series can expect its arrival sometime next year, so follow and stay up-to-date for more details on Tomb Raider and more.
